Summer fêtes are typically laden with amazing grilled savories and fresh seasonal salads. The beautiful colors of seasonal fruits, vegetables and flowers usually inspire me to focus less on the tablescape and more on my mise en place. Okay, if you know my husband is a chef, then you know any time spent in the kitchen requires a bit of luck between the ingredients and tools for me to produce a dish worthy of sharing the same table!
Since the melon and mozzarella salad above might just be a perfect combination of sweet and savory on a hot summer’s day, I went on a quest to find the right tools to help me execute this dish. Here’s what I found . . .
Between the strawberry huller, the peach pitter and the very cool melon knife, a gorgeous fruit salad should be moments away. With numerous culinary gadgets available in the marketplace, I found the selection at Willams-Somona to be a useful for this recipe and many more.
