As the year of Tangerine Tango sails into Fall, I am struck by my growing love of orange, or I should say Tangerine. The bold, rich orange hues in sunsets have always been a personal favorite having grown up on the West Coast – long before I enjoyed a New England tree peeping trip! – and the rich, bold glow of orange can warm up any space in your home. I found a couple of images that are inspiring me to let go of Summer and welcome Fall!
A perfect medium scaled pattern in orange & gold for a powder room.
This breakfast nook is warmed up with an orange table, orange striped window treatments and orange piping on the cushions.
Between the runner and the stripe along the wall, this staircase is eye-catching.
And a classic black and white scheme popped with hues of tangerine and Donghia’s Tuxedo (penguins) textile on the pillows for fun.
