Amaryllis, centerpiece, holiday, wreaths

Hopefully Chateau & Bungalow has been making you think about using pink, green or even blue in your holiday decorating this year but you don’t have to abandon all things red and green.  Take a look at this great use of fuchsia with a traditional wreath and cluster of Amaryllis.  How about exchanging a red floral centerpiece with some purple and pink? Thinking about going a bit more contemporary?  Black and white are the perfect back drop for this splash of green and feels more winter themed than holiday.

No matter which direction you chose to go this year, use what you have in your home.  Be inspired by your favorite curtains, napkin or flower and invite a little color into your life this season. The slight shift from red to magenta or pine tree green to lime can take you from wanting to be cozy by the fire to putting on your new sequins top and hosting an impromptu cocktail party.  Color can turn a great holiday into a magical one.
