One of the best things about the Newport Flower Show–besides all those gorgeous blooms– is the market on the back lawn. Vendors from across the country along with favorites from around town come to display their unique wares, and it’s a great place to find that special piece for your home and garden.
The Preservation Society of Newport County’s own store caught our attention with this great batik inspired melamine dishware.
J. McLaughlin put on a stellar display with their ribbon backdrop in the show’s Salsa theme colors. And Pamela still has her eye on those purses!
Bramin paired two of our favorite hues–orange and fuchsia.
Brooks Brothers brought on the full nautical style for home and wardrobe.
I wish they sold that crab embroidered table cloth in their display.
We even got the fun surprise of meeting our friends Pomegranate Seeds in person.
The Octopus Candelabra is to die for!
And remember that beautiful melamine dishware we fell in love with a few months ago?
Well, it’s just as fabulous in person!
Pamela really thought so and made a few purchases! Can’t wait to go to that party.
They also had the entire selection of my favorite Le Jacquard Francais table linens and tea towels. I think Kim might have something new to collect!
The next spot that caught our eye was the Zaahna booth.
These beautiful scarves and tunics are vibrant and give back.
“Glamour. For Good.”
Kim picked up this gorgeous pink scarf!
Then we found our friend Ashley from Willywaw who’s booth looked fabulous!
She had lots of fun new prints and we love the new fish body pillow.
I love the jellyfish tea towel and the clam ones below.
This oversized tote was perfect to carry away your goodies…
and even the bottom of it caught our eye.
Those who weren’t as busy as us shopping stopped for a bite while enjoying the beautiful view.
We found one other great new product that we think warrants its own post so stay tuned. Here’s a hint: Newport and toile!
Even if you don’t have a green thumb, the Newport Flower Show is well worth visiting for the shopping alone!
