Somehow the holidays have come and gone but I had to share with you a few things from my Christmas dinner.  I was lucky enough to spend it at my Aunt’s home in Wilmington, Delaware.  We all gathered around this lovely table and enjoyed telling stories and catching up.  Her table was beautifully set, my favorite detail was the center piece.  She put together some great looking fruit and added some green clippings from her back yard to form a seasonal centerpiece.  I was very impressed. 

The second thing that I was excited about, besides spending time with my family, was the pumpkin pie.  As it is,  I am a big fan of pumpkin pie.  Little did I know, so is my grandfather who introduced me to something I had never heard of…pouring Mount Gay Rum over the decadent dessert.

Let me tell you, this was the BEST! I will absolutely be sharing this tradition with my friends and family next Thanksgiving and Christmas.
